Q: How do I get my tickets?

A: It’s easy! The fastest way to get your tickets is to order online and print them right at home. If you order your tickets over the phone, they will arrive in your mailbox within days of placing your order. Or, you can walk right up to the box office and bring your tickets home that day.

Q: Do I need to bring a chair?

A: No, you don’t - the venue has reserved seating for the Sunset Music Series, Newport Comedy Series, and B.B. King: Live in Newport for the Benefit of International Hall of Fame & Museum concert. For all other events, there are dedicated seating areas for guests.

Q: If it rains, does the event go on?

A: All events at the Newport Yachting Center will take place rain or shine. Keep in mind that the venue has large tents that can accommodate rain, however, umbrellas are welcome.

Q: Can I bring my pets?

A: Sorry, but while we love all our furry friends, unless they are certified assistance service animals we cannot allow them inside the event.

Q: Can I bring my my camera/video camera?

A: You may bring cameras to our festivals (Chowder Cook-Off, Irish Festival, Tastes of Rhode Island, Oktoberfest) but there is a strict no-camera/no-video policy for Sunset Music Series concerts, Newport Summer Comedy Series shows and the B.B. King: Live in Newport for the Benefit of International Hall of Fame & Museum concert.

Q: Can I bring my cooler of snacks & beverages?

A: Unfortunately no, but we offer a vast array of fare from comfort food concessions to healthy options, and of course our culture festivals boast favorite traditional cuisine from land to sea! Our full service bars feature alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Q: When is the Will Call/Newport Yachting Center box office open?

A: The Box Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5:30pm, Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 5:30pm, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. On show days we are open from 10am to 10pm. If you have any questions, please contact us at boxoffice@newportyachtingcenter.com.

Q: Do you offer wheelchair access?

A: Absolutely, the outdoor venue makes wheelchair access very accommodating. If purchasing tickets to any reserved seating event, please call the box office at (401) 846-1600 to purchase a wheelchair-accessible seat.

Q: Where should we park?

A: There are many convenient parking lots within walking distance to our venue: The Mooring Seafood Bar & Grille on America’s Cup Avenue, at 366 Thames Street by Island Pursuit, and just a little further up is the St. Spyridon’s Church lot.
